President's Message | April 2025

A reminder that the offices of Temple Beth El will be housed at Sitrin for the months of April, May and June. Shabbat services and classes will be held at the JCC. We thank both Sitrin and the JCF for donating to us the spaces needed.

We celebrated on Erev Purim with members of Temple Emanu-El sharing food, a Wizard of Oz Purim Speil and the reading of the Megillah. The carnival brought the religious school students together for family fun, games and food. Many thanks to the committee members who gave of their time to make Purim a real celebration and to Temple Emanu-El for hosting the events. Check out the photos in this issue of the Temple Times.

April’s calendar brings us Passover and the Community Seder on Sunday, April 13th at the JCC - 6:00PM.

Also, mark your calendar for the annual Helen and Leon Holocaust Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:30PM - JCC.

Israeli Independence Day will be celebrated with a FREE performance by ABCdario Dance Company in Wellin Hall at Hamilton College on Sunday, April 27th at 4:30PM. Bring your family and friends as we observe Yom Ha’atzmaut.

Kindly consider placing an ad in the program book for the performance at Wellin Hall. We are trying to offset the costs for the Federation.
