October 2023 | Message from our president

As you read this, the high holy days of 5784 are almost over. It was a very busy time, as it is every year. I would like to show my appreciation and thank the following people for their assistance in making the services run smoothly: Rabbi Geier, Elliott Rabin, Mark Smith, Julie, Stephen and Rae Rosenfeld, Izzy Cominsky, Larry Marks, Aliza Gerstein and all those that were on the Bimah to read, carried a Torah or participated in the services. You took a part in making the holidays special. Todah Rabah!

Thank you to those that helped decorate the Sukkah and also to those that attended the services and enjoyed the experience of activities in the Sukkah.

The students and families of our religious school had the opportunity to decorate the Sukkah at Sitrin’s Gan Kavod.

Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and the festivals are not the only times we come together. Each Friday and Saturday, Rabbi does a beautiful service for Shabbat and we would like to share it with you. It has been 2 years since we moved to 1607. For some of you, it is time you saw our new set up and the beautiful new ark. Every week would be perfect but once a month could be a start. Please give it some thought.

Stay well and be happy,

Marsha
