May 2023 | Message from our President

Happiness depends upon ourselves. -Aristotle

We did it! We came together as a community and celebrated our Passover Seder led by Rabbi Geier. We shared traditions with friends of many congregations as well as members of the Interfaith Coalition. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their time to make the evening an incredible success!

I think anything is possible if you have the mindset and the will and desire to do it and put the time in. -Roger Clemens

Erev Shavu’ot, May 25th, please join us for a Dairy Dinner ($10) at 6:30PM, a Torah class and services. Please call the office to make a reservation.

It was wonderful to see so many of you take part in the Yiskor Service on the last day of Pesach. We were able to read Torah and it was a time spent together to remember and honor our loved ones that have passed. If you missed it, there will be another Yizkor Service on Shabbat, May 27th celebrating Shavu’ot.

The less you respond to negative people, the more positive your life will become. -Paulo Coelho

Please mark your calendars for Temple Beth El’s Annual Congregational Meeting on Tuesday, June 6th at 7:00PM. A quorum is required so please plan on attending. We will wrap up the past year’s events and present upcoming ideas with desserts and schmoozing.

Shalom,

Marsha
