Dear Friends,
We are again looking forward to a warm, pleasant and relaxing summer. This is a July and August message so we are reminded that the High Holy Days are not very far away. Rosh Hashanah is September 26th and 27th and Yom Kippur is October 5th. It has been a few years since the holidays were so late into the fall. (I like when they fall later).
It is very nice for us to look forward to being in our original main sanctuary at 1607 Genesee Street for the High Holy Days, and to have our services led by Rabbi Geier.
We also must mark our calendar and save Sunday, August 21st at 10:30, at the JCC to say thank you and to honor Cantor Kal Socolof for the many years he gave TBE as Cantor and Rabbi. It is always a pleasure to listen to and learn from Cantor. Please make your reservation.
We are settling in at our original home at 1607 Genesee Street and with the pandemic a bit less active we are hoping to have our membership join us weekly for services in our very nice, welcoming sanctuary in the lower level of our building. Join us in person at 5:30 Friday and 9:30 Saturday morning for Shabbat services. It will feel so good and be a mitzvah.
I wish one and all a nice summer, it is time to pick up that book you have been wanting to read. Relax, enjoy the nice weather, join Rabbi Geier for services, stop at Temple to say hello.
The Best to All,
Mundy
