June 2023 | Message from our Executive Director

How nice it is that we have made it through the winter months with much less effort than many of the cold, snowy long winters of the past many years.

It is so nice to see the sunshine, the air feeling warm and the beautiful green grass of spring already visible.

As we look back at the last year at Temple, we observed the High Holy Days in our original large sanctuary where we felt very much at home with some of our pews, the original ark and bimah. Rabbi Geier made sure the main sanctuary looked as close to the many years of observing the very High Holy Days of the past. I noticed many smiles from our members as they walked through the doorway and I smiled with the friends and families I have known for so many years.

Along with the services from Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim, Passover and Shavuot, we enjoyed celebration time with members that we have not been able to share because of Covid, which has now legally been put in the past.

We will now have the pleasure of enjoying spring and summer, hopefully reading some books we have saved, maybe a short trip or just relaxing at home and joining us for services on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Temple Beth El is always here for all of us and for friends or guests that may need our services.

Enjoy the warm seasonal weather and visit Temple on Shabbat.

Sincerely,

Mundy
