October | Message from our President

Shalom,

As we start this new year of 5782 and our 102nd as Congregation Temple Beth El, I am thankful for everyone that gave their support this past year as a volunteer, by joining the virtual and in person services or by paying your dues, Yom Kippur pledges and making donations. This year will bring many changes for our congregation. We welcome Rabbi Geier who will be joining us and shortly we will have a new place for our sanctuary and offices. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur were a bit different with Rabbi Geier and Elliott Rabin conducting services in a hybrid manner. I am sure we all agree the beautiful melodies and prayers were a wonderful way to greet the New Year. When I asked for advice or assistance, there was always someone there for me. Thank you! I would like to extend thanks to Temple Beth Joseph for sharing their services with us for Succoth and Shemini Atzeret. Thank you to Mark Smith for the Yom Kippur Appeal. Please send in your pledges. Your donations are most important as we move forward to our new location. Hopefully, we will be back together in the new sanctuary as soon as possible. Once again, I thank Mundy and Julie for keeping the office running smoothly through this transition. Religious School will get underway shortly. We will begin on Zoom with Rabbi, Bozhena, Gleb and Sophia as the instructors. Ann Nathan will assist with the transition. Please take care and be well!

Shalom, Marsha
