February 2024 | Message from our President

Hello my friends,

The Temple Beth El website (tbeutica.org) has been going through many updates. A huge thank you to Sara Tisch for keeping us in the 21st century! You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram.

The planning has begun for a Purim Celebration on March 23rd and the Community Passover Seder on April 22nd. Please save the dates and look for more information in future publications.

We have set up an easy way to make donations to Temple. It is explained “how to” later in this issue. There is no charge for this service and it is a convenience we made for you.

Rabbi Geier celebrated Tu B’Shevat with the students in the religious school with a seder celebrating the fruits of the holiday. They also planted lettuce to use on their Passover Seder plates as they practiced their Aleph Bet.

I hope you can join us on Shabbat. We have been enjoying our Onegs and Kiddush with food and conversation each week. Feel welcome to bring a dairy snack, dish or dessert to share.

Each month, we can have kosher meat delivered from Rochester. Click here to learn more.

Something to consider... I read this in a book recently:

“The little things that people do to make the world better but for which they never receive thanks.”

Please keep in mind there are people working behind the scenes all the time to keep Temple running smoothly.

I pray that the hostages will be home by the time you read this. My heart goes out to their family, friends and all civilians affected by this war.

May we all stand together for Israel,

Marsha
